About Accommodations

Q.What time is check-in and check-out?
Our check-in time is 3p.m., and check-out time is 10 a.m.
Q.What is your cancellation policy?
We charge 30% of hotel charge for cancellation on 3 or 2 days before your reserved day, 50% on a day before, and 100% on the reserved day or no visiting without notice.
Q.How much do you charge for children?
70% of Adult's charge for children from age 6 to 12.
50% of Adult's charge for children from age 3 to 6.
1,650 yen (facility fee) for children from age 0 to 2 (no bedding).
Q.Can I pay with credit cards?
Yes, you can. However, we accept only one-time payment.
Usable Credit Cards:JCB、VISA、UC、UFJ、NicoS、SCORT、SAISON、AEOI、OMC、J-Debit、HOKUSEN、ORICO、AMERICAN EXPRESS, China UnionPay.
Q.Do you provide services in foreign languages?
We provide a Multi-language Information Service ""WEB Concierge"" at our hotel reception.

We also provide interpretation service in case of emergency.
Q.Can we stay with our pets?
We are very sorry, but pets are not allowed to enter our hotel.
Q.Can we use wheelchairs?
We have 2 wheelchairs available for rent. Please ask at the reception.
Q.Do you have a parking lot?
We have a 24-car parking lot free of charge.
Q.Will you keep our hand luggage before check-in, and after check-out?
Yes, we will keep your luggage at the reception.
Q.Can we use the WiFi?
Yes. It is available at the reception.
There is one computer you can use free of charge at the information corner.
Q.Are tips necessary?
No. Tipping is not necessary.

About the Guest Rooms

Q.Is there a no-smoking room?
Yes. We have 11 twin-bed rooms and 4 Japanese style rooms that are no-smoking.

Q.What are equipped in the guest rooms?
Equipment:TV / regrigerator / safety box / hair dryer / electric kettle / glasses (in western style rooms only)、tea mugs (Japanese style rooms only)
Toiletries: two-in-one shampoo / body wash / hand soap / toothbrush and toothpaste / hair brush / razor / face towels / bath towels / samue / hanten (short coat) / slippers
Q.What equipments are available for rent?
humidifier, electric fan, game set (ex. Othello, playing cards), etc.
Q.Do you offer room services?
We are very sorry, but we do not offer room services.
Q.Can we use the Wifi in the guest rooms?
Yes,you can use the WiFi in the guest rooms and lobby area.
Q.Which type of electrical plugs is used? How much voltage?
Electrical plugs in Japan are type A with 100V.
Since we don't have transformers etc., available for rent, please bring them with you.
Q.Is there a barrier-free room available?
"Service Design Twin Room" on the 1st floor is a barrier-free designed room for guest with wheelchair. ※However, please understand that other areas of the hotel facility is not fully barrier-free. (There are stairs on each floor.)
Q.Do you have a space where we can keep our skis and snowboards?
Please use the drying room for skis next to the entrance.
We ask you to refrain from taking your skis and snowboards to your guest rooms.
※Please be sure to take off your ski boots at the entrance.

About the Meals

Q.What kind of meal is served? Can we eat Japanese food?
Dinner and breakfast are both served in a buffet style, offering Japanese and western dishes. However, in case we have a few customers, the dinner will be served in a Japanese or a western set menu, and set meal will be served for breakfast.
Q.Can we have our meals in the guest rooms?
We are sorry, but we don't offer meals in your guest rooms.
Q.What time can we have our meals?
Dinner : 6 pm to 9 pm (last call 8:30 pm)
Breakfast : 7am to 9 am
Q.Can we smoke in the restaurant?
We are sorry, but smoking is prohibited inside our restaurant.
Q.Can you change the menu of the meals if we have an allergy?
We are sorry, but we can not change the menu since it is a buffet style.
Q.Do you offer lunch and late-night snack in the hotel?
We are sorry, but we don't offer lunch and late-night snack.

About the Hot Spring Bath

Q.What time can we use the hot spring bath?
Open/3 pm to 10 in the next morning

Q.Do you offer your bath for day use?
No. We don't offer our bath for day use, but you can use our affiliated hotel, Hotel Bearmonte.

Q.Are shampoo and condtioner equipped in the large bath areas?
Yes. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are equipped in the large bath areas.
Q.Are towels equipped in the large bath areas?
No. There are no towels in the large bath areas. Please bring face towels and bath towels equipped in your guest rooms.
Q.Do you have an outdoor bath?
No, we don't.
Q.Do you have a sauna?
No, we don't.
Q.What are the properties and effectiveness of your hot spring?
Properties:sulfate spring (flowing straight from the source)
Characteristic:All bathtubs are filled with 100% natural hot spring flowing straight from the source, without adding any water or without circulation. It is a sulfate spring very rare in Japan, which is also called "Shoukumi Sen (bitter taste hot spring)". Colorless and odorless, with smooth water quality. Hot spring with rather low temperature, recommended to enjoy a long bath.
Effectiveness:Neuralgia, muscular pain, cut, burn, fatigue, etc.
Q.Do you have a private bath?
No, we don't.

About the Hotel Facilities

Q.Is the hotel no-smoking?
Yes, smoking is prohibited in the entire facility.

We are sorry, but there is no bar.

Yes, there is a souvenir shop on the 1st floor by the reception.

Q.Can we buy items tax-free at your souvenir shop?
No. We are very sorry, but our shop is not tax-free.

No, we don't.

Yes, there is a laundromat on the 2nd floor.
Washing machine: 200yen,  Dryer: 100yen
Detergent sold at the souvenir shop (50 yen).
Q.Is there any barrier-free facility?
2nd floor: Play Hall/Installed with a 60-inch liquid crystal television and an audio system where you can enjoy your DVD. Relax on a sofa.
3rd floor: Healing Space/Installed with a personal CD player with high-quality sound. Enjoy the music on a reclining seat.

Q.Is there a ski / snowboard rental?
We are sorry, but there is no ski / snowboard rental.

3 minutes by car and about 15 minutes on foot from our hotel.

Q.Is there a convenience store nearby?
There is no convenience store in Asahidake Hotsprings.
The nearest convenience store is located in Higashikawa-cho (about 30 minutes by car).
We advise you to use the convenience stores before you arrive at Asahidake Hotsprings.
Q.Is there an automated teller machine (ATM) nearby?
There is no ATM at our hotel or in Asahidake Hotsprings.
There are ATMs at convenience stores and banks in Higashikawa-cho, about 30 minutes by car.
Q.Is there a Tourist Information Center nearby?
For information on Asahidake or hiking in the nature of Asahidake, please visit the ""Asahidake Visitor Center"" right in front of our hotel.
Also, there is ""Higashikawa Tourist Association"" for tourist information of nearby area, which is located inside Michi no Eki ""Michikusa Kan"" about 30 minutes by car from our hotel.

Goods featuring wild animals living in Asahidake are very popular. We recommend Daisetsuzan Owl carved out of wood, and wreaths and mobile phone charms with whistling hare.
Q.Can you make arrangements and reservations for other facilities and hotels?
We can introduce you some other facilities and hotels, but we kindly ask you to make arrangements and reservations on your own.
Q.Can you arrange for a rental car?
We are sorry, but we can not arrange for a rental car.
You can rent a car at the JR Asahikawa Station or at the Asahikawa Airport.
